One of the perils for those who write, especially on global and geopolitical issues, is that one is forced to repeat what one wrote or commented on several years ago.
Good article. But with the bumbling and disunited Arabs, I just don't see it. If it were not for the Persians, ethnic cleansing of Palestine would be over by now.
We can say all the negative things we care to say about Africa/Africans but, with very few exceptions, Africans rose in solidarity with the liberation movements in the 1970s.
The Soviets and the Chinese came to our aid when they saw the efforts that we were making.
My own country, Nigeria, led the fight. Although geographically out of the Southern African region, Nigeria was made a member of the Frontline States because of her strong commitment to liberate Africa. Money was collected from us as school children to help our people fighting against colonial oppression!
When the British government under Margaret Thatcher appeared to be pussyfooting over independence for Zimbabwe,Nigeria promptly nationalized the British Petroleum without compensation! Britain caved in!
Unfortunately, today we have mindless politicians whose allegiance to the Pan African cause have been compromised!
Contempt does not even begin to describe what I have for “leaders” like Abbas and the other Arab leaders who cannot unite and fight for their own people who are suffering under Zionist oppression!
I repeat the African proverbs:
1. You can’t shave People’s heads in their absence.
2. It is the child that raises his hands that the mother will carry!

Exactly my thoughts.
This is what I wrote this morning on my VK
