Thanks for your article.

History supports your article's narrative and the fact of European exploitation of Africa and Africans, whose labor and resources were, and are, used to develop Europe, America, etc.

With regards to the following from your article:

"...we should put pressure on our leaders in Africa to begin to do for us what leaders in China, India, Russia, Europe, Arabia, and the US are doing: using their resources to take care of their people."

Why do you think "our leaders in Africa" aren't doing what "leaders in China, India, Russia, Europe, Arabia, and the US are doing: using their resources to take care of their people"?

I think that a series of WHYs, peeling the onion so to speak, will ultimately lead us to root causes. Once we identify or uncover root causes, a solution is then easy to identify, even if it's not necessarily easy to implement.
