On the shitty US (S)election

As a non-US citizen, I don't have a dog in the shitty fight that goes for election in that country.

This is my reply to a reader who tried to make a case for Kamala Harris:

Did you forget that George Bush, a racist mofo by every standard, gave us the best highway in Ghana after the Tema Motorway? I talk of the George Bush Highway.

What did our Brother Obama give us in Ghana/Africa?

What did Clinton give us?

Both were democrats!

The biggest investment of the US in Africa during Obama was the drone facilities in Niger.

And don't forget that he was the one that expanded AFCOM!

I prefer the racist bastard who directly shoved it in my face to shameless hypocrites who consider me a brother or comrade when it suits the advancement of their careers!

I like people like Trump who chose their battle and their people better than I do sanctimonious people like Obama or Harris with their stupid grins and crackles!

The same way that I prefer the de Klerks of this world to the spineless Mandelas!

Should we not ask ourselves why Black Leaders are not willing to identify with us and fight for our interests like White Leaders do?

Why do they lose themselves in abstract universalism when they gain power?

As Lucky Dube aptly put it: Not every Black Man is my Brother, not every White Man is my enemy!
