My Reply to a Westerner who tried to hug High Moral Ground!
This was my reply to a Westerner who gave credit to Westerners for the termination of the evil apartheid regime in South Africa.
“Peter, Maybe he was just being Diplomatic!
He certainly couldn’t have forgotten that the North (West) was the biggest supporter of the apartheid - financially, militarily, and diplomatically.
Even in sports, the West told us not to mix sport with politics as they kept engaging with their brethren in South Africa. Of course, today, they got amnesiac as they hypocritically imposed sanctions on Russian and Belarusian sports people!
The West supplied the weapons, and many Europeans (many of them with dual citizenship) went on safaris to KILL Africans for fun, sports, and entertainment.
No, I didn’t make it up - A Dutch police report in the 1980s documented it in “Fighting for Apartheid, a job for life.”
The West and Israel supplied the technology that enabled the regime to build nuclear weapons. European scientists worked with their apartheid counterparts to create the Biolabs that specifically targeted Black People!
And don’t forget that it was the CIA that leaked Mandela’s hideout to the apartheid police!
Please don’t attempt historical revisionism here. The wounds are still too fresh!
Finally, let’s remember Mandela’s admonition: Amnesty is not Amnesia!
I hope that you will appreciate the dilemmas people like me face!
We all have our problems with the governments that we choose. Still, for non-westerners, the main problem is that Western governments, whatever their ideological preferences or pretensions, continue with the same genocidal and imperialistic mindsets and policies.
I witnessed firsthand that most Europeans do not care what their elected (yes, elected in free and fair elections) officials do or what atrocities they commit in foreign lands, as long as they bring the bacon home, so to speak!
I see what people do, so I care less about what they say!
I see what elected European leaders do, but I am not persuaded by any hand—open or closed.
You forgot that you started by crediting Europeans with helping to win the war against apartheid. They did not.
I debunked your false assertion with indisputable facts!
You yarned about your governments not representing your views without telling how you kept on producing pathological killers and liars.
You went on a tangent and threw Illuminati into the mix - I dismissed it as utter hogwash. I don’t blame the Illuminati for the wretched actions of those that I voted into power.
Maybe you should stay in your lane, learn some humility, and get yourself some education before you discuss issues that only reveal your crass ignorance.
