My reply to a post regarding the US losing Afghanistan:
Shouldn't the question be: What was the USA doing in Afghanistan?
How do you lose what doesn't belong to you?
The arrogance of Westerners to imagine that they own the world and are entitled to other people’s resources seriously boggles the mind!
Or, more appropriately, why should a country like the US, with its gargantuan problems (34 or so trillion dollars in debt, for example), be dotting the world with military bases and destroying lives in the name of geopolitical games?
Why do you think we are not entitled to live peacefully in our land without lectures or interference?

This question needs to be asked everywhere the US has a presence, in every institution it has a presence.
