Hot Question of the Day #5

Learning from their history, especially their occupation and humiliation by Foreign Occupiers, the Chinese prepared and fortified themselves over the years so that people of the European Stock, whatever they call themselves (American, Australian, Canadian, etc), would never bully and humiliate them again.

Sadly and unfortunately, we in Africa, the only people who suffered the twin carnage of enslavement and colonization, refused to learn any lesson.

Here we are today, cowering in fear as the manipulative, bombastic idiot Americans put in their White House threatened to devastate our disarticulate economies.

No, we are not being too harsh on our mis-rulers in Africa, but it's time to wake up and stop sugar-coating our words.

What are our officials in the AU, SADC, EAC, and ECOWAS doing to propel our continent to join the rest of humanity in stabilizing our economies and our political/governance system and building up our defense and security so that we can face the world not as beggarly supplicant but as confident members of the Human Race?
