Who needs Europe with its virulent racism?

This was how I concluded my article, “Who is Afraid of the Recolonizers,”

“As the global power paradigm shifts inexorably away from Europe, the central question thus becomes: Who needs Europe with all her reckless bigotry, violence, virulent racism, cynicism, unbridled greediness, selfishness, rampant arrogance, immodesty, and wanton decadence?

When the baton is finally and irrevocably passed from Europe, perhaps the rest of humanity can finally leave Europe, with all her negative baggage, behind and march to build a new relationship of humanity based on mutual love, respect, peace, fraternity, and solidarity.” -

In discussions with European friends and colleagues, they always argue that Europe is motivated by altruism in its dealings with Africa, but they become mute when I ask what example they can cite as a success story in their 500+ years of “helping” and “civilizing” Africa.

Another question that both Europe's leadership and scholarship have not successfully answered is why it is impossible for Europe to leave Africa alone.

European scholarship, which promotes Europe as the originator of mathematics, philosophy, and everything in between, never answers why, with all their super-human abilities, Europeans were never willing to compete on equal terms with less-endowed (in their views) humans.

They created institutions (WTO, IMF, etc.), stacked the decks in their favor, and then boasted about how superior they were to the rest of us.
