Biden’s Last Hurray
I concluded my piece, Bush’s Last Hurray thus: “PS: It shall never be known what crimes we committed that made Americans inflict a moron like George Bush Jr. on the rest of us. As he sings his last hurrah, we say good riddance to a very bad rubbish. May the likes of George Bush Jr. never again preside over the affairs of an important nation! Amen, amen, amen!
PSS: Unfortunately, the gods appeared not to have heard my prayers. Americans inflicted “Change we can believe” Obama who bombed and droned enough countries to win himself a Nobel Prize for Peace.
The world has barely recovered from the nightmare of the Obama years when Americans inflicted the narcissistic Trump on the world. The noxious smell of Trump still lingers when Americans tell us that we haven’t seen anything yet; a totally corrupt Ogre with absolutely no redeemable feature whatsoever, a barely cognitive Joe Biden, was put into the Oval Office.
May the gods have mercies on us.

Unfortunately, the gods do not appear to listen to entreaties these days. July 27, 2024, will go down as the day that the career of a professional politician, Joe Biden, whose entire political career has been devoted to criminal shady deals, abuse of office, warmongering, and ardent advocacy for the oppression of poor people by the rich and the powerful.
We were never told why the rulers of the US finally decided to throw one of their faithful servants under the bus, but by pantomiming a presidential debate they knew that Biden was cognitively incapable of handling, they certainly had some message for us.
I opened my last post, “The Debacle Called US Presidential Debate, thus: First, let’s be reminded of this African saying: To laugh at calamity, deformity or infirmity is an enormity.
We do not mock old age in African culture, nor do we denigrate the dead. The reasons should be clear enough for anyone with brains to think: Old age is a privilege to which we all aspire. Regarding death, Biology 101 teaches that no living thing will get out of the world alive; we are all gonna DIE.
No, we do not set out to insult Biden or Trump, but the spectacle of these two ELDERLY citizens being steamrolled into the most powerful office in the world should give grave concerns to any human being who cares about the globe that we all call home.
It appears that the Deep State, or whatever we choose to call them, have such low contempt for us that they would want us to disbelieve what all our senses tell us, and think that Biden is one independent actor who is capable of making all the ponderous decisions that his office required!
No honest person who has watched Biden in the past year would be surprised to see his abysmal performance at the charade that goes for presidential debates in the US. Of course, Trump was his usual nasty, buffoonish, narcissistic self on his usual ego trip.
The surprise is that Western media rose like a single voice to parrot what should have been obvious to anyone who cares to look; they pretend that Biden’s senility is one Great Revelation!

I know that the powerful Hegemons who control the levers of our lives have scant regard for us, but is it asking for too much if we all, as citizens of the world, implore them not to imperil us all by giving the keys to one of the world’s largest nuclear weapons to a man who is, obviously, mentally handicapped?
